Paper Crafting Blog Hop - Christmas card becomes an ornament forever!

Welcome to the Paper Crafting monthly blog hop's November hop featuring December holidays.  I am glad you landed here.  If you came here from Sandra Robert's UK hop, I'm sure her post project was great.  First I hale from the wonderful state of Texas in the United States.

I would like to share the inspiration behind my card.   I have always loved poinsettas and I love to share Christ's love through my crafting.  That's why I love the stamp set Illuminated Christmas that has images and sentiments that share that story.  I also love the colors Poppy Parade and Shaded Spruce.  I especially love the Merry Merlot and Copper ribbon.  I also wanted to use the Stamparatus to stamp a wreath of a stamp.  When I planned my first team meeting I needed to plan a make and take and wanted to use these ingredients and techniques.  I thought about having the items on the front be removable as one object so they could be used as an ornament, but then thought why not use the whole card as the ornament and then from year to year the card would be put on the tree of the recipient so they could see your handiwork and read the thoughtful messages you wrote on the inside.  I hope you're intrigued.

Please return to my blog tomorrow to find out how to make this card.  Also, please leave a comment to tell me what you like about my card and this International blog hop.  In the meantime, please hop to the next stop, Sandy Ward, on the blog hop.  I'm sure you're going to enjoy her project too.
