I had a great morning at my card class at Lakeline Oaks this morning and the projects they

They had a great time and my assistant, my son, Steven, was a great help.  He's home from college for the summer.

On another note, there will not be a Stamp 'N Hop Blog Hop this month.  I will try to post a
special set of projects on the second Saturday instead.

15 yr anniversary gift for customers - Last week of the old catalogue - summer events

On May 29th 2018 I celebrate 15 years as a Stampin' Up! demonstrator!  I would like to give my customers a gift.  Contact me to receive your gift of 15 sheets of cardstock and if you put in an order this week, I'll add an extra gift or 2.  If you want to send me a card for my anniversary, I would love that.  I love Stampin' Up and have had a wonderful time crafting, making new friends and occasionally teaching the craft to others in their home.  I would like to continue doing this and share the craft and Stampin' Up with new people and their friends.  If you would like to host a party or just do a craft session with me, let me know.
The old catalogs will only be relevant for products for one more week. The new one will go live on June 1st!  Contact me if you live in the United States and don't have a Stampin' Up demonstrator or if you are my customer and would like a new catalog to have.  If you're local to me, I'll make a plan to bring you the new catalog, if you're not and want one, I'll send you one.  If you need inspiration, I've got some old catalogs that have lots of ideas in them that can be revamped using new products.
In regards to summer events, the calendar is started!  I have been asked to do a monthly event at Rolling Thunder Roadhouse.  It will be a consistent 2nd Wednesday of the month from 9am-12pm in the Airstream at Rolling Thunder.  Cost will be $10 and will be for 2 cards and a non-alcoholic drink from Rolling Thunder.  Then you can order lunch thru Roger for after you make your cards.  I will be highlighting new products from the new catalog and at least one of the cards will have a patriotic theme.  For June, the other will be appropriate for a Father's Day card.  Contact me now to let me know you will be there so I have enough prepared supplies for you.
I will also continue to do my monthly class at Lakeline Oaks Retirement center.  I'm also open for more events.  If the kids want to do a craft party or you and your friends want to find your creative side and make some cards to send to family and friends or to say thank you to those who help you through the summer.
On another note, the Paper Pumpkin subscription kit for June will be a neat new experience.  It will coordinate with a new Suite of products in the new catalog!  Since you don't have the new catalog yet, you won't know the suite.  But I know it's going to be quite an exciting suite that you can then purchase more products and make more projects with the combination of Paper Pumpkin and Stampin' Up products.  If you already are a subscriber, awesome, don't pause it, if you aren't yet a subscriber, click here to subscribe.

Tutorial - Love You to Infinity and Beyond

The awaited tutorial for the Infinity card I shared with you through the Stamp 'N Hop blog hop this month is here.

Your base will be 4 pieces of card stock measuring 3"x 6".  I made 2 of them in Rich Razzleberry and 2 of them in Grapefruit Grove.  These 2 colors are part of the Share What You Love cardstock pack in this month's promotion from Stampin' UP!
Using the Simply Score tool, I scored each of the pieces at 1 1/2" and 4 1/2".  Then using the Stamparatus, I laid 2 of the same colored pieces side by side using the corner of the Stamparatus to keep them aligned with each other and so that the scoring was parallel to the top of the Stamparatus.

Next I layered the other 2 pieces on top of those pieces but aligned them one above the other.

Then, I folded the top piece open on the score line and put tear n tape on the top square.  And then repeat on the bottom piece.

Remove tape backing and adhere top right side to the bottom right side.  Repeat last 2 steps on left side.
Cut DSP - 8 pieces that measure 2 3/4" x 2 3/4", 8 pieces that measure 1 1/2" x 2 3/4", and 8 pieces that measure 1 1/4" x 1 1/4".  Use these as layers on the parts of the card.  Opening each layer of the card. Adhere with SNAIL. After first layer flip top piece up and bottom piece down.  Add DSP to second layer.  Open 2 large squares with left square going left and right square going right.  Add DSP to third layer.  Open third layer with top layer up and bottom layer down.  Add DSP to fourth layer.  To get back to first layer, open left side to the left and right side to the right.

Add stamped sentiments and images this time through.  For first layer, I sponged colors for the background and then stamped the sentiment on it.  Then I layered it as a diamond on another square.
Adhere this to the top layer center squares.  Second layer I inked wizard on one side with one color and other side with other color.  I also sponged the edges of the squares.  Each of these squares for the sentiment are on whisper white and are, I believe, 2" x 2".  I gave the card to my son for his 25th birthday and forgot to write down the dimensions for this layer.  2 large squares with sparkles on four corners are 2 1/2" x 2 1/2".  These are for writing the personal message to your recipient.

Here is the video of the interaction with the card:

Sorry for my attire I was at a hotel and was hoping the camera was only on the card and my hands.  Hope you have enjoyed this card and the tutorial.  As stated in the earlier post for the blog hop, the cardstock, the DSP are both from the Share What You Love Suite that is now a pre-release available to be purchased in 3 different bundles with at least one free item in each bundle.

Here is a video about the 3 bundles that are only available till May 31st with links to purchase them through my webstore below the video:

Stamp 'N Hop - Love you to Infinity and Beyond!

Hi again.  I am part of the Stamp 'N Hop New Annual Catalog Pre-Order Blog Hop.  For those of you new to this blog hop, my name is Tracey Gouraud and I am an Independent Demonstrator who loves Stampin' Up! products.  I live near Austin, Texas and share my love of Stampin' Up here and where ever I go.  I also enjoy sharing my faith in Christ through my projects.  This blog hop is a group of International Independent Demonstrators with lots of inspiration.  If you hopped here from Terry Montgomery's post, I know the projects and post were great and fun.  If you did, I hope you left her some love in the form of some comments on her post.  I hope when you finish reading my post, you will leave me some comments and then continue the hop thru for more inspiration to Tracie Evans Langley's post.
This project is to celebrate the gift of my first born son and his birthday which is this month.  His favorite color is purple and he enjoys magic so I decided to make him an Infinity card.  He also knows I love rainbows thus the multi colors in various parts of this project.
This project has a wow factor but is really easy to make especially when you use the Stamparatus for alignment of the first part.  The Stamparatus will be available for purchase on june 1.  The other fun products I used to make this project are the wonderful new designer series paper that is now available for purchase and the card stock to go with it. They each have great colors and the DSP is a double package with double sides and one side in most of them have a hint of metallic color to them that will make any projects you make with them, spectacular!  Due to unexpected travel this week, I had issues with posting the video of this wonderful card and the tutorial.  I know you'd love to make one and I promise to post the tutorial for this WOW card that is simple and easy to make within the week.  Stay tuned to this blog for this.
In the mean time, please check out the other blog posts for more inspiration.  Next up is a wonderful lady with a wonderful name that sounds like mine! Click on the link below to go to her hop post and then continue thru the other posts and leave comments for all of us.  Please click on the follow link on the side of this post to make sure you get notified when I post the tutorial.  Thank you for your understanding. The products I used are below the list and are part of this month's pre-release of the new items in the new catalog that will be available to customers on June 1st.
