What would we do without adhesives in our crafts?!

I know that's a silly question, but wanted you to realize we always 

need more adhesive and adhesive choices. (How else would

 we create layers?!) Today and tomorrow, Saturday August 12 

and Sunday August 13, 2023, in Texas is Tax Free Holiday 

for school supplies.  Stampin' Up! wants to help with this and 

sends out a list every year with the states, dates and what items qualify 

in each state for these tax free holidays.  That being said, adhesives are

the majority of the list.  That would include things like Tear n Tape, 

Stampin' Seal, Stampin' Seal+, refills for those 2, glue dots and 

mini glue dots, dimensionals, dimensional strips and sheets, glue, & 

fine tip glue.  Markers, watercolor pencils and alcohol blends combos qualify 

too, but adhesives are really important and you don't want to run out of them!

Since I've last published a blog post, I've celebrated 20 years of being an independent Stampin' Up demonstrator!  I held an event with a few stampers who enjoyed the projects and the camaraderie and the creativity.  The next day I challenged myself to stamp with 20 new to me stampers.  As of August 3rd, I accomplished that with one to spare!  Here are a few of the new to me stampers and their cards/gift-e-lopes:

Now if you were paying attention before all these beautiful people with their projects showed up, you "heard" me "say" gift-e-lope.  For those who haven't been stamping with me, or don't remember, a gift-e-lope is a card/gift wrap/gift holder all in one AND made with .....

an ENVELOPE!  It's a lot of fun to make and receive, cuz there's always a gift inside (if you do it right).  It's one of the first projects I learned how to make 20 years ago and it's been said that when I say "gift-e-lope" I sparkle!  💖
