Mystery Stamping Challenge -- Are you Ready?

Here’s a Challenge:
Let's get back to being creative and stamping.
Let's make a card and you won't know till you're finished what it's going to look like.

Clue 1:
What to have ready:
       ½ sheet Whisper White CS
       Scrap piece of paper 3” x 8.5”
Black, pink and purple ink pads
       Water color pencils
A stamp set that can create a small scene
2 separate stamps that are outlines and smallish
(think a small butterfly & a swirl as suggestions)
       A sentiment stamp
       A handheld hole punch
A piece of ribbon 2-3” long
Say or Comment "Clue 1 done"

clue 2
1)       Fold Whisper White CS in half.
2)    Place scrap of paper diagonally over front of card front covering from left top corner to right bottom corner.
3)    Using pink ink pad and either sponge or dauber, and circular motions, apply to both exposed corners on Whisper White CS.
4)    Place scrap of paper diagonally over front of card front covering from right top corner to left bottom corner.
5)     Using Purple ink pad and sponge or dauber, and circular motions apply to both exposed corners on Whisper White CS.
6)    Say or comment “Clue 2 done”

clue 3
1)       Leaving scrap paper in place, using pink ink pad, and small stamp, apply randomly to both exposed corners. Some images can be partial on CS due to scrap paper.
2)     Rotate scrap paper back to other diagonal exposing other corners. Use purple ink pad and other small stamp, apply randomly to both exposed corners.
3)    Say or comment “Clue 3 done”

clue 4
1)       Remove scrap paper.
2)    Using Black ink and scene stamp, stamp scene in center blank area on Whisper White CS. Depending on scene stamp(s) you chose, you may need to only ink part of it.
3)    Using sentiment stamp and either pink or purple ink, stamp sentiment in appropriate place.
4)    Using water color pencils, color in scene.
5)     Say or comment “Clue 4 done”

clue 5
1)       Using handheld hole punch, punch 2 holes about ¼” apart in top of diamond around scene.
2)    Thread ribbon thru both holes so both ends are at inside of card and center of ribbon is showing on front.
3)    Thread ribbon ends thru opposite holes back to front of card.
4)    Tie knot and cut ends of ribbon on diagonal.
5)     T – A – D – A You’re done!
6)    Now show me your cards and I’ll show the card that inspired this made by my former down line: Janie Mock.
And one lucky stamper will get a grab bag of goodies from me for doing the challenge.
Each person who places an order from my website and uses the June 2020 hostess code: TQU72RVA will get a grab bag from me.
Creatively yours,
Tracey Gouraud
