I'm getting ready to CELEBRATE! Order before Halloween ends and get a Treat!

     I'm working on lots of projects to take with me to OnStage!  I'll use these to trade with other demonstrators for the projects they have created.  This will help inspire me to more awesome projects for classes, workshops or card clubs.  I'll share the items I'm making right before I leave next week. #StampinUp30.  While I'm there, I'll also be shown new products and get some new stuff that will be available to y'all in the next catalog.  If I can share any of this, stay tuned here.

     On the topic of classes, workshops and card clubs:  I have 2 customers that would like to start a monthly card club.  To make this work, we need at least 3 more people to commit to the 5 or 6 month club.  The club will meet once a month where we'll make a project or 2, have snacks, and commit to placing a minimum $30 product order before shipping and tax.  Each month a different club member will get the hostess rewards for the party.  If this sounds like something you would like to do, please email me.  Use the subject line of "I want to be in the club".

Monthly Card Club interest needs more customers

       I have received a new customer who would like to do a monthly card club where a minimum of 5 customers commit to a minimum of 5 months and to spend a minimum of $30 per month on an order.  Each club member would have a turn being the hostess and getting the hostess rewards.  I need at least 3 more people interested in this type of event.  Please Email me with subject of: Yes to monthly Card Club.

     I had a great first team meeting with my 2 downlines Wednesday night.  #StampinUp30.  We enjoyed swaps and a make and take.

Trying new things

 

My first attempt at a wreath done using my Stamparatus. Not perfect, with a few extra ink smudges, but I like it. Colors used were: Poppy Parade, Pineapple Punch, Mint Macaron, Calypso Coral and Highland Heather. Stamp set used was Around the Corner.

I was just doing it quickly and got a few smears, but it was easy to do and now i can do more of them with a sentiment in the center.

My 4th week challenge - Intro to the experience of being a demo

     Week 4 of the challenge from Stampin' Up to help me share the fun of being a demonstrator has been fun.  I was challenged to put to paper the things I love about the products, the workshops and my memories of being a new demonstrator.  Then to take that and make a 30 second commercial on any type of media for becoming a demonstrator as part of my team. And make a few stamped items to share my contact info and my commercial and hand out a few of them this week.

     Here is my 30 second commercial I printed out and inserted in my stamped card :

               Hi, my name is Tracey Gouraud and I’m an independent Stampin’ Up demonstrator.  I would like to share my story with you and maybe help you to want to join the fun that is Stampin’ Up. 

     Many years ago, a friend kept inviting me to her stamping parties and I declined them because I thought I wasn’t creative or crafty.  She kept inviting me until I caved in.  I went to one party and made the project and tweaked it just a little.  I bought something for my sister who is crafty. After another party, I decided to have my own party and then another.  Then the demonstrator suggested I might want to be a demonstrator. 15 years later, I’m still a demonstrator and having fun being creative and making friendships with others, having fun with the wonderful colorful products, going to conventions and meeting other independent demonstrators from all over the world!  I stepped out of my comfort zone, you can too!

     Wow!  What an amazing event! Thank you to every one who made this event so wonderful!  From my co-host and new friend, Melissa Thomas to all the wonderful people who attended it and made wonderful projects.  Some who did some of their own projects and also did the kit as recommended.
