Happy August! Paper Pumpkin - Tax Free Shopping - Join my team

August is here and with it the heat!  So, stay inside, order some craft supplies, do tax free shopping during August 9-11, then call me to join you for some one on one crafting and/or join my team this month!  For your orders that are under $150 of product (and not the demo kit), remember to use the August hostess code: RZZ9F7GC.

I've been busy lately making and sending cards and playing catch up with my

family and friends. Each couple of weeks, I learn a new card design and make it

with various looks and stamp sets for the people on my list for their birthdays,

anniversaries and when they're ill or injured or have lost someone they love.

Here are some of the cards I've made:

Most of these were done by taking a few sheets of cardstock with me already cut and some other pieces of Designer paper and a few stamp sets and a small sample of ink pads.  Not all the color combinations are the best, but I worked with what I had at hand.  Tell me your favorite Stampin' Up color combination and which one of these card designs you want to make and I'll schedule a session with those supplies and teach you how to make your own card.

You have until the 10th of this month to subscribe to the Paper Pumpkin craft kit and get the very cool August kit which will feature Fall projects that aren't cards.  If you really like to make cards, and are a Paper Pumpkin subscriber, you can order the new add on bundle for $10 starting today at http://traceygouraud.stampinup.net and order item #152885.  Then you'll be ready for your kit when it arrives.

The Texas Tax Free holiday is August 9-11 and Stampin' Up has a list of items that are eligible for this sale  (Stampin' Blends singles $4.50 each and combos $9.00 each not shown, but eligible also):

#simplestamping and more

When you want to send a greeting and want it to be from the heart.  You can do it with ONLY paper, ink and stamps and this month, add on a little piece of Designer Series Paper.  This postman is delivering LOTS of positive thoughts to the recipient which can be seen by all the dots following him.  I used the note cards and envelopes, the You Always Deliver stamp set and 2 ink colors: Mango Melody and Blueberry Bushel.  The dots are from the In Color package of 6x6 sheets of Designer Series Paper.

This card was so easy to make and I can help you to make it your own way and make more cards.  You can continue to make more by buying supplies and earning a coupon to use next month on more supplies.
